Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

Position Overview

We are partnered with an engineering design services company to find a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and manage electrical power systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards while coordinating multidisciplinary projects. Their core expertise lies in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, technology consulting, low voltage systems, commissioning, and fire protection.

The candidate in the EE role must be located and PE-licensed in Florida, with the option to work from any of their 7 locations in the state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee electrical designs: single-line diagrams, circuitry layouts, wiring plans, and construction documents.

  • Coordinate plant electrical systems, ensuring code adherence (e.g., NEC, NFPA).

  • Review vendor/subcontractor drawings for compliance with specifications and design integrity.

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and engineering teams to align project goals.

  • Conduct QA/QC checks on electrical designs and deliverables.

  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource coordination across disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.

  • P.E. License required.

  • 6–8 years of engineering consulting experience.

  • Proficiency in RevitAutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
